WRITER'S MIRROR
BISWAJIT
In throbbing world of tug-of-war
Of virtue and vice,
We're writers, make words roar,
We use mirror thrice.
Who we are, and writing for whom,
We must see at first;
We mirror raw feelings with words,
Those impressions last.
When we get drowned deep in
Troubling ticklish tragedy,
We need mirror to make sure,
Rediscover, 'I am He'
At times, if we overwhelm with
An unhealthy pride,
We see the mirror and cut off
The deadly sin aside.
If we learn to face mirror right in time,
Writings resonate like a well-tuned chime.
